There are three fundamental levels of service we can provide, with add-ons and extras as well as extensive customisation services.
Basic Services
- Website - Brochure type. All our basic website services use our unique Content Management System, but we can also use Joomla, WordPress or any other CMS that is compatiable with our server. We don't use FrontPage or Dreamweaver. Our code is in the raw, at the fundamental level, but for the user, editing is easier than editing a Word document. Yes, easier.
- E-Commcerce - We use osCommerce, an open source solution for our commerce needs. It provides the right mix of control and sales ability, and is very familiar to any web user. We can customise it and provide add-ons. Alternatively, we can use any commerce tool of your choice.
- Bulletin Boards - We like phpbb3, but there are a million boards out there, and we can install them and customise them. We can even moderate them for you, (terms and conditions apply), and make them sing and dance for you.
Corporate Image
As well as this, we can design a totally unique website for you, populate it and make it integrate totally with your company logos and corporate feel. We can design custom navigation and content after spending time finding out about how you feel your company should be represented. We can step up to the challenge of making you stand out from the crowd, and make your visitors feel that they have been somewhere special when they visit your site, however much, or however little you want to say.
Business Model Integration
We can push it further. Want this not only to be external, for the public, but want your company intranet to start working for you? Want to see that your systems integrate over your intranet and extranet? We can implement these systems from scratch. Want to integrate with current systems? No problem. The other model
We can transform your current web experience by writing bespoke applications, or integrating into web applications already available. Think about it, one outlay, and one piece of software, the browser, and you can run everything you need.
We're always asked "What do you charge?"
Well, here's our scale of charges, they are inclusive of training and whatever work is required, including daily backups, yes, daily, and updates if web technology changes. Our sites work.
- Basic. As many pages as you can fit into 200Mb space, 1Gb transfer per month, (variable), managed with our content management system. Backups, updates and training. Support throughout the year. You edit your content whenever you like, and we support you.
- £500 for the first year. £200 a year after that.
- osCommerce. Installation, customisation (within reason), backups, maintenace, set-up, payment integration, guidance and instruction.
- All the above £500, £200 a year after that.
- Population of the database with your products, £10 per hour. With photos (taken by us), £20 per hour. (And the travel costs. We use the train whenever possible).
- Bulletin Boards. Installation, customisation (within reason), backups, maintenace, set-up, guidance and instruction.
- All the above £300, £100 a year after that. OR Half price with either of the two other packages. Yes, really.
- Bespoke Services
- Bespoke Services attract our consultant rate of £30 per hour and some sort of maintenance charge, though this is likely to be of the order of our regular maintancene charges if the work is easily maintained. Once we've done it, we don't have to charge a fortune to maintain it.
